There are four types of order available on LBank Futures: Limit order, Market order, Trigger Order and Post Only Order.
You can select different order validity times according to your needs.
1. Limit Order
Limit Order allows you to set a specific or better price to buy/sell. Buy limits execute at the limit price or lower. Sell limits execute at the limit price or higher. Please note that limit orders don't guarantee execution.
How to place a limit order?
-
On the order interface, select [Limit], enter the price and the amount, and click [Open Long] or [Open Short].
-
In the [Order Confirmation] popup, verify that the price and amount information are correct, then click [Confirm] to confirm the order.
2. Market Order
Market Order will be immediately matched with the best available price. The execution price of a market order is the price of the limit orders in the order book. Therefore, slippage may occur, meaning your execution price may differ from the expected price.
How to place a market order?
-
On the order interface, select [Market], enter the trade amount, and click [Open Long] or [Open Short].
-
In the [Order Confirmation] popup, verify that the amount information is correct, then click [Confirm] to confirm the order.
3. Trigger Order
Trigger Order allows users to set specific conditions, and the order will be automatically executed when those conditions are met. It is used for opening long/short positions at certain price levels or market conditions.
How to place a trigger order?
-
On the order interface, select [Trigger], choose [Limit] or [Market], enter the trigger price and the trade amount, and select [Open Long] or [Open Short].

4. Post Only Order
When you place a post only order, it will be added to the order book but will not be immediately executed. Post Only Order is used by market makers to add liquidity to the order book.

On the order interface, in the [Trigger] dropdown menu, select [Post Only], enter the trade amount, and select [Open Long] or [Open Short].
